Community Guidelines
Last updated October 6, 2026
Muse is a place to get better with other people's help. These guidelines apply everywhere on Muse: communities and their channels, posts, comments, messages, sessions, profiles and reviews. They add to our Terms and Conditions.
1. Be kind and respectful
- Disagree with ideas, not people. No insults, name-calling or pile-ons.
- No harassment, bullying, threats or unwanted sexual attention.
- No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other protected trait.
- No content that sexualises minors, and no sexually explicit content.
2. Keep it safe and honest
- No medical, mental health, legal or financial claims you aren't licensed to make, and no promises of guaranteed results.
- If someone may be in danger, point them to emergency services or a crisis line. In the US, call or text 988.
- No promotion of self-harm, eating disorders, violence or illegal activity.
- Don't pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your qualifications.
3. Respect privacy
- What members share in a community stays in that community. Don't screenshot, repost or share it elsewhere without permission.
- Never post someone's personal details (address, phone number, private messages, photos) without their consent.
- Don't record calls or events without everyone's consent.
4. No spam or selling around Muse
- No unsolicited ads, repeated posts, chain messages or links unrelated to the conversation.
- Coaches: don't recruit clients from other coaches' communities, and keep payments on Muse.
- Reviews must be honest and about a real experience. No paid, swapped or fake reviews.
5. For community hosts
Anyone can create a free public or private community; only coaches can run paid ones. Hosts set the topic and can add their own rules, as long as they don't conflict with these guidelines.
- Hosts and the moderators they choose can pin posts, remove posts and comments, mute members and ban members from their community. Use these fairly and consistently.
- Paid communities must deliver what they describe. Members can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Events must start when announced. If you cancel one, tell members as early as you can.
6. Reporting
Use Report on any post, message, profile or review, or email hello@musecoaching.dev. You can also block anyone. Reports are confidential; the person reported isn't told who reported them.
7. What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious and how repeated it is, Muse may hide or remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account, or close a community. Serious harm or illegal content may be reported to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake, reply to our message or write to hello@musecoaching.dev and a person will review it.
