I’m laid-back, logical, and I have no filter. Dating is one red flag short of a circus tent and there’s an awful lot of people out there ready to waste your money and your time. If you want my perspective, it will be honest and straightforward- completely free of whimsy, rainbows and lollipops. Let me tell you about me…. After a failed marriage, I jumped back into the dating pool. I was lucky enough to find a fantastic guy and remarried. Five short years later, I became a widow at 38. It took a while, but I finally decided to put myself out there again and wow… dating has changed. When you’ve already had exactly what you want it’s hard to not be picky, and boy have I been picky. I have seen hundreds of dating profiles, been flirted with by men from 18 to 65. I’ve sought the help of my own male friends in trying to find my person again and I’ve learned a lot. I’ve also realized men are just as clueless when it comes to navigating what women want. And that’s where I stop being gentle. Gentlemen. Women and men alike are out here overinvested, overextended, overstimulated, and over the BS. Let’s talk about what that BS is, how to avoid women’s red flags, how to spot what you want and avoid the nonsense that you don’t. I’m here. Let’s be real.
