About Me

I am an outgoing, motivated, and compassionate person who genuinely enjoys connecting with other people. I tend to be approachable and open-minded, and I value getting to know people for who they are rather than judging them based on their circumstances, mistakes, background, or differences. I believe that everyone has a story, and that understanding someone’s experiences can often provide a much deeper perspective than simply judging their actions.

Family is extremely important to me. I have a strong sense of family connection and place a great deal of value on the relationships, memories, traditions, and experiences that bring people together. I care deeply about the people in my life and believe that being there for one another—especially during difficult times—is one of the most meaningful things we can do.

I am also a motivated person who likes to stay active, learn new things, and pursue opportunities that interest me. I am not afraid to explore new directions or take on something unfamiliar. I tend to be resourceful and persistent, and when I become interested in something, I like to learn as much as I can about it and find ways to make it work.

My educational and professional interests have centered around people and the complexities of human behavior and life circumstances. My background and studies have included areas such as psychology, social work, mental health, addiction, and criminal justice. These areas have given me an interest in understanding why people think and behave the way they do, how life experiences can affect a person, and how individuals can be supported through difficult circumstances.

My interest in psychology and mental health has also strengthened my belief that people are much more complicated than what may be visible on the surface. Addiction, mental-health struggles, difficult life experiences, and involvement with the criminal justice system can affect individuals and families in profound ways. I believe compassion and understanding are important, while also recognizing that personal responsibility and accountability matter.

One of my strongest qualities is my ability to remain open-minded. I don’t believe that a person’s worst moment necessarily defines their entire character. I try to listen before forming an opinion, understand different perspectives, and treat people with dignity.

I am also someone who is curious and creative. I enjoy exploring ideas, learning about people and the world around me.
